Arcane Distilling Launches Arcane Imperial
Arcane Distilling in Brooklyn, New York has announced the launch of its second flagship whiskey, Arcane Imperial. It joins Arcane Alpha, the company’s first whiskey, which launched earlier this summer.
Arcane Imperial is vacuum-distilled from an Imperial Stout and rested in large oak foudres to add mouthfeel, color, and flavor without overwhelming the beer notes with too much wood character. Bottled at 93 Proof (41.5% ABV), Arcane Imperial is described as having aromas of “rich, dark chocolate with notes of caramel and toffee,” and notes of “dried fruit, subtle smokey phenols, caramel, Dutch-process cocoa, roasted malts, and orange peel” on the palate, concluding with a “bold, rich, and complex” finish.
Arcane Imperial is available at ArcaneDistilling.com, which offers shipping to nearly 30 states, and at retail for a suggested price of $45.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
