Irish Distillers Launches Method And Madness Oats and Malt

Irish Distillers has announced the launch of Method And Madness Oats and Malt, a limited edition Irish whiskey distilled from oats and malted barley.
Triple distilled at the Midleton Micro Distillery by Katherine Condon in copper pot stills using a mash bill of 60% Irish oats and 40% malted barley, Method And Madness Oats and Malt was matured in ex-bourbon casks for an unspecified amount of time before being bottled at 46% ABV.
Method And Madness Oats and Malt is described as having aromas of “toasted marshmallow, pink peppercorns, and orange zest,” with notes of “fudge, citrus oils, and green chilli” on the palate, concluding with a “creamy” finish exhibiting “mild tannins and soft oats.”
Method And Madness Oats and Malt is available for purchase now in Ireland, the UK, Dublin Airport, and online at a suggested retail price of €95.
