Talisker Launches Surge Travel Retail Exclusive
Talisker has announced the release of a new travel retail exclusive Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Talisker Surge.
Matured in American Oak ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at 45.8% ABV, Talisker Surge is described as having aromas of “forest berries, Crème Brule, banana split, American cream soda, butterscotch, roasted pine nuts, and hints of chilli.” The palate has notes of “brioche sweetness, banoffee pie, tinned peaches, sweet maritime notes, fresh ginger zest, oak smoke, and peppery spice.” It concludes with “hot chilli spice and cracked black pepper, fading into a waft of distant smoke from the embers of a beach bonfire with a faint hint of toasted marshmallow” on the finish.
Talisker Surge is available now at select UK airports and will be rolling out to additional airports worldwide through December. Talisker Surge carries a suggested retail price of £85/€95/$115 for a 70 cL bottle.
