The GlenAllachie Distillery has announced the launch of The GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Batch 2.

GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Batch 2 is a marriage of five Pedro Ximénez puncheons and hogsheads dating back to 1997, 1998, and 1999, bottled without added coloring or chill filtration at a cask strength of 51.1% ABV.

GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Batch 2 is described as having aromas of “cocoa, heather honey, orange peel, cinnamon, mocha, and fruit cake.” The palate exhibits notes of “fruit cake, treacle, heather honey, orange peel, stewed fruits, and dark chocolate,” concluding with “ginger and orange zest” on the finish.

GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Batch 2 is limited to 1,600 bottles worldwide and will be available beginning this month at a suggested retail price of £250.
