Teeling Whiskey Launches 30 Year Old Single Malt

Teeling Whiskey has launched Teeling 30 Year Old Single Malt, the oldest bottling in The Teeling Vintage Reserve Collection to date. The Vintage Reserve Collection is a series of limited releases featuring some of the oldest Single Malt Irish whiskey ever bottled.
Teeling 30 Year Old Single Malt was distilled in 1991 and initially matured in Bourbon casks before a secondary maturation for over 9 years in Sauternes wine casks. The dual maturation is described as imparting “a significant depth of fruit flavors that perfectly balances the hint of smoke that comes from both using some peated malt in its production and the oak influence from over 30 years of ageing.”
Bottled at 46% ABV with no chill filtration, Teeling 30 Year Old Single Malt is limited to only 4,000 hand bottled 70 cL decanter bottles, each presented with its own certificate of authenticity.
Teeling 30 Year Old Single Malt will initially be available at the Teeling Whiskey Distillery, Celtic Whiskey Shop, and Dublin Airport in Ireland before being rolled out to the US, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Australia and select Asian markets in January 2022. It carries a suggested retail price of €925 (~$1,058).
