Jura Launches Rum Cask Finish
Jura has announced the latest addition to its portfolio, Jura Rum Cask Finish; a single malt Scotch whisky that’s been matured in American White Oak ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in Caribbean Rum casks.
Jura Rum Cask Finish is described as “warm, sweet and welcoming” on the nose, with aromas of “tropical fruit, guava, coconut, citrus, a hint of vanilla, sugar coated almonds, apricot, and spiced guava.” The palate is “mouth-wateringly vibrant with creamy hints of sweet vanilla, fudge, coconut, and spiced tropical notes”, concluding with a “lasting finish of sweet cinnamon.”
Jura Rum Cask Finish is launching immediately in the UK, with a rollout to additional markets to follow.
