Ardbeg Arrrrrrrdbeg Revealed
Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed Arrrrrrrdbeg, an NAS (No Age Statement) peated single malt Scotch whisky from Ardbeg that’s been fully matured in ex-rye casks. Arrrrrrrdbeg is being bottled in honor of Ardbeg Distillery Manager Mickey Heads, who will be retiring in October 2020.
The back label describes Arrrrrrrdbeg as having aromas of timber smoked banana, pear, vanilla and rye, with spice, fruit, aniseed, smoked toffee and a hint of sourdough biscuits on the palate, ending with a long, lingering, smoky finish.
Arrrrrrrdbeg will be bottled NFC (Non Chill-Filtered) at 51.8% ABV and is expected to land in stores in fall 2020.

This Arrrrrrrdbeg will be huge. Will this be just a good marketing trick or really good malt?
Having tried it I thought it was pretty decent.
