Four Roses Senior Brand Ambassador Al Young Has Passed Away
Four Roses has reported that Senior Brand Ambassador Al Young passed away on Christmas Day with his family by his side.
Al had been with Four Roses Distillery for more than 50 years and in various roles including Distillery Manager, Brand Ambassador, and historian for the 130 year old Bourbon brand. Al was described as “a walking, talking Bourbon encyclopedia”, and used his knowledge to write the book Four Roses: The Return of a Whiskey Legend.
Al’s achievements in the Bourbon industry did not go unnoticed, as he was inducted into the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame in 2015 and is also a member of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame.
