Highland Park Launches Triskelion

Highland Park Triskelion

Highland Park has announced Triskelion, a special edition single malt Scotch whisky created in collaboration between current Highland Park Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion and two former Master Whisky Makers, Max McFarlane and John Ramsay, in celebration of “100 years of their shared whisky-making wisdom.”

Bottled at 45.1% ABV, Highland Park Triskelion was created using whisky matured in first-fill sherry seasoned Spanish oak butts, first-fill sherry seasoned American oak casks, first-fill bourbon barrels and hogsheads, and a small quantity of refill casks.

Triskelion is described as “complex and full-bodied, revealing delicious notes of Seville oranges, sultanas, raisins and sweet apricots with hints of vanilla-laden crème brûlée and cloudy heather honey. Crushed coriander seed provides aromatic warmth and light peat smoke unites each layer of flavour.”

Highland Park Triskelion carries a suggested retail price of £170 (~$217) and will be available in the UK beginning this month, with a US launch to follow in early 2020.
