Baker’s Transitions to a Single Barrel Bourbon and Announces 13 Year Old Limited Edition Release

Baker's Single Barrel Bourbon

Baker’s Bourbon, part of the original Small Batch Bourbon Collection created by Jim Beam 6th Generation Master Distiller Booker Noe, is transitioning exclusively to a single barrel bourbon and debuting a new bottle design. The new bottle will feature details about the individual barrel including the age, the warehouse in which it was aged, and the date it was barreled.

Baker’s Single Barrel Bourbon will maintain its minimum seven year age statement and signature 107 bottling proof (53.5% ABV). Tasting notes will vary from bottle to bottle due to the nature of single barrel products, but some of the defining characteristics include aromas of “fruit, vanilla and caramel”, a “medium bodied” palate with notes of “oak, toasted nuts and vanilla”, and a “robust, medium long, and warmly rounded” finish.

Debuting alongside the new Baker’s Single Barrel Bourbon will be the brand’s first-ever limited edition offering: a 13 year old single barrel bourbon. Baker’s claims that spending thirteen years in the barrel gives the whiskey “noticeably richer notes of oak and toasted nut.” Baker’s 13 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon will be sold in a premium gift box with metallic-inspired label and metal neck charm.

Baker’s Single Barrel Bourbon and Baker’s 13 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon are available now at a suggested retail price of $59.99 and $99.99, respectively.
