Arran Reveals a New Look and Two New Expressions
Isle of Arran Distillers has revealed a new look for their Arran single malt Scotch whiskies alongside two new NAS (No Age Statement) expressions, Barrel Reserve and Sherry Cask, that will be joining their core range later this month.
The first expressions to debut Arran’s new bespoke glass bottle, logo, labels, and gift tubes will be the existing 10 Year Old and Quarter Cask, as well as the new Barrel Reserve and Sherry Cask. Barrel Reserve is a 100% Bourbon barrel matured expression bottled of natural color at 43% ABV, whereas the Sherry Cask is, as the name implies, a Sherry cask matured expression bottled of natural color at a cask strength of 55.8% ABV.
Arran 10 Year Old, Quarter Cask, Barrel Reserve, and Sherry Cask will be available in the new packaging beginning September 16th, followed by the Arran 18 and 21 year olds in October. The rest of the Arran range, including the wine finishes and limited edition single casks, will transition to the new packaging over the coming months.
