GlenAllachie 15 Year Old Joins Core Range
GlenAllachie Distillers has launched GlenAllachie 15 Year Old, a single malt Scotch whisky that’s been matured in Pedro Ximenez (PX) and Oloroso Sherry puncheons and hogsheads. GlenAllachie 15 Year Old joins the 10 Year Old Cask Strength, 12 Year Old, 18 Year Old, and 25 Year Old as a permanent expression in the GlenAllachie core range.
GlenAllachie 15 Year Old is described as having aromas “overflowing with raisins, butterscotch and sweet spices”; the taste a “rainbow of sweet spices, raisins and butterscotch” that “develops to banana, orange peel and dark chocolate.”
GlenAllachie 15 Year Old is bottled at 46% ABV and carries a suggested retail price of £62.99 (~$76).
