Laphroaig Càirdeas Triple Wood Cask Strength Arriving in 2019
A cask strength version of Laphroaig Triple Wood has been revealed as 2019’s bottling of the annual Laphroaig Càirdeas release. Like the standard Triple Wood (48% ABV), Laphroaig Càirdeas Triple Wood will be triple maturated in ex-bourbon barrels, quarter casks, and Oloroso sherry European oak casks for “creamy flavours of vanilla and fruit, with a suggestion of sherry sweetness” and “Laphroaig’s signature peatiness”.
Laphroaig Càirdeas Triple Wood Cask Strength will be bottled NCF (non-chill filtered) and of natural color. Expect it to hit stores sometime between summer and fall.
