Glenfiddich Fire & Cane Released
The fourth release in Glenfiddich’s Experimental Series, Glenfiddich Fire & Cane, has been released. Peated and unpeated ex-bourbon barrel matured malts were married and finished in Latin rum casks to create a spirit that’s smoky and sweet.
Glenfiddich describes Fire & Cane as being golden in color, with “billowing soft peat notes, rich sweet toffee with zesty fresh fruit notes and spiciness” on the nose, and “like a Highland peat campfire, with oak notes and toffee, sharp green fruit, sweet baked apple and soft smoke” on the palate, finishing with “lingering smokiness and sweetness.”
Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is bottled at 43% ABV and will be available at retailers starting this month at a suggested price of $49.99.
