Ardbeg An Oa Officially Unveiled
Ardbeg has officially unveiled the first new whisky to be added to their core range in almost a decade: Ardbeg An Oa (pronounced “An Oh”).
Ardbeg An Oa is a vatting of Ardbeg single malts that have spent time in Pedro Ximénez, virgin oak, ex-bourbon, and other unspecified casks. The distillery’s tastings notes describe Ardbeg An Oa as “subtly smoky with notes of creamy toffee, aniseed, hints of peach and banana”.
Ardbeg An Oa will be bottled at 46.6% ABV and begins rolling out next month at a recommended price of $60.
