The Glendronach Unveils Boynsmill House Edition
The Glendronach Distillery has unveiled The Glendronach Boynsmill House Edition, a limited edition single malt created to marks its 200th anniversary.
The Glendronach Boynsmill House Edition has been matured for 14 years in primarily a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, with a small number of Claret red wine casks added to the mix, and is bottled at 46.8% ABV.
The Glendronach Boynsmill House Edition is described as having aromas of “a delightful fruit and nut medley, Highland toffee, bramble, stone fruit, hazelnut, and raisin.” The palate exhibits notes of “plush, ripe malt character with a richness of dried fruits and nuts, rising to a crescendo of velvety smooth and mellow chocolate caramel notes.”
The Glendronach Boynsmill House Edition is available now for a recommended retail price of £95.
