Jack Daniel’s Unveils Distillery Series Selection #17
The Jack Daniel Distillery has unveiled the latest release in it’s limited edition Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series, Selection #17: High Angel’s Share Tennessee Whiskey.
The creation of Distillery Series Selection #17 began with traditional Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey laid down in 2016. The whiskey rested atop Coy Hill on the top floor of Barrelhouse 1-13 for a high angel’s share maturation. As the barrels rested in the highest reaches of the barrelhouse, an increased amount of whiskey was lost, presenting a deeply rich concentration of flavors within the remaining spirit.
Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series Selection #17 is bottled at 138.4 proof (69.2% ABV) and described as “coating the palate in brown sugar, banana nut bread, and a hint of maple syrup, leading into a long finish delivering just the right touch of oak and a comforting embrace of rich, warm flavor.”
Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series Selection #17: High Angel’s Share Tennessee Whiskey is presented in 375 mL bottles and is now available exclusively in Tennessee and at the White Rabbit Bottle Shop at the Jack Daniel Distillery for a suggested retail price of $44.75.
