The Last Drop Distillers Unveils Releases No. 41 and No. 42

The Last Drop Distillers has unveiled a duo of new releases: a 25 Year Old Trinidad Rum (Release No. 41) and a 60 Year Old Single Grain Scotch Whisky (Release No. 42).
Release No. 41: The Last Drop 25 Year Old Trinidad Rum from the Caroni Distillery
Drawn from two bourbon casks, one distilled in 1997 and the other in 1999, that were married and bottled at 130.4 proof (65.2% ABV). Limited to 261 bottles with a suggested retail price of £1,750 (700 mL).
Release No. 41 is described as having aromas of “roasted nuts, spiced oak, pineapple, vanilla, and delicate floral notes of orange blossom and jasmine.” The palate exhibits flavors of “sweet papaya, stewed hibiscus flower, spiced ginger cake, green banana leaf, and dry white pepper spiciness with just a wisp of smoke.” It concludes with a “long, spicy finish shaped by oak tannins.”
Release No. 42: The Last Drop 60-Year-Old Single Grain Scotch Whisky from the Carsebridge Distillery
Drawn from a single ex-bourbon cask (No. 160237) laid down in November 1965 and bottled at 84.8 proof (42.4% ABV). Limited to 140 bottles with a suggested retail price of £3,700 (700 mL).
Release No. 42 is described as having aromas of “toffee and baking spices, lifted by sweet fruit and warming clove.” The palate is “smooth and rounded, with toasted almonds, crème brûlée, and delicate oak‑spiced fruit.” The finish is “gentle, lingering, quietly complex, and full of surprises.”
Each bottle from The Last Drop 2026 Collection is wax-sealed, individually numbered, and presented in a bespoke case that includes a 50 mL miniature, a pocket-sized tasting book, and an engraved stopper cork.
