The Jack Daniel Distillery has unveiled the latest release in it’s limited edition Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series, Selection #16: Tennessee Rye Whiskey Finished in Table Syrup Barrels.

The creation of Distillery Series Selection #16 began with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye Whiskey, crafted from a mash bill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley and matured in new charred white oak barrels. The rye whiskey was then finished in barrels that once held a Southern-style table syrup before being bottled at 111.4 proof (55.7% ABV).

Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series Selection #16 is described as “opening with notes of salted caramel and a warm backbone of rye spice; the syrup-seasoned barrels add sweetness and depth without overshadowing the whiskey’s natural complexity, creating a balanced expression.”

Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series Selection #16: Tennessee Rye Whiskey Finished in Table Syrup Barrels is presented in 375 mL bottles and is now available exclusively in Tennessee and at the White Rabbit Bottle Shop at the Jack Daniel Distillery for a suggested retail price of $44.75.
