Ardgowan Distillery Launches Four New Clydebuilt Scotch Whiskies
Ardgowan Distillery has announced the launch of four new Scotch whiskys under its Clydebuilt brand.
The four releases, comprising one blended malt and three single cask single malts, include:
- Clydebuilt 27 Year Old 100% Sherry Matured Blended Malt: A multifaceted expression bringing together Highland and Island whiskies matured in a Pedro Ximénez Sherry hogshead and 33 year old malt distilled at Benrinnes Distillery. Limited to 408 bottles. SRP £95.
- Clydebuilt 2009 Bourbon Hogshead, Fettercairn Distillery: Distilled in the Highlands and matured in a single Bourbon cask (#800292). It exhibits notes of toffee apples and citrus zest. Limited to 272 bottles. SRP: £85.
- Clydebuilt 2012 Bourbon Hogshead, Royal Brackla Distillery: Distilled in the Highlands and matured in a single Bourbon cask (#306449). It exhibits notes of of lemongrass, green apple, and vanilla. Limited to 290 bottles. SRP: £75.
- Clydebuilt 2014 Sherry Butt, Ben Nevis Distillery: Distilled in the Highlands and matured in a single Spanish Sherry cask (#800040). It exhibits aromas of cinnamon stewed pears while the palate offers butterscotch, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Limited to 327 bottles. SRP: £85.
As is the case with all Clydebuilt whiskies, each expression is bottled without added coloring or chill filtration.
The new Clydebuilt Scotch whiskies are now available at UK and international retailers.
