Old Potrero Launches 2025 Christmas Spirit Whiskey
Hotaling & Co. has announced the 2025 release of Old Potrero Christmas Spirit.
To create the 2025 Old Potrero Christmas Spirit, Hotaling & Co. Distillery took an iconic San Francisco Christmas Spiced Ale from 2015 and distilled it twice in copper pot stills, then aged it for 9 years in once-used Old Potrero Straight Rye Whiskey barrels and bottled it at 50% ABV.
The 2025 Old Potrero Christmas Spirit is described as having aromas of “spiced fruit cake, candied orange, and evergreen.” The palate exhibits notes of “sweet malt, bright grapefruit peel, a medley of baking spices, and fresh ginger.” It finishes with “light oak, roasted malt, and soft pine.”
Presented with a “To & From” gift card neck tag on each bottle, the 2025 Old Potrero Christmas Spirit is available at retailers in CA, MN, ND, NE, NJ, SD, and WI, and nationwide via the Old Potrero website. Old Potrero Christmas Spirit carries a suggested retail price of $139.99 for a 700 mL bottle.
