Bunnahabhain Unveils 2025 Edition of 21 Year Old Cask Strength Release
Bunnahabhain has announced the launch of Bunnahabhain 21 Year Old Cask Strength 2025 Edition.
This year’s edition was crafted from 21 casks and spent most of its life aging in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, before undergoing a final 21 month finish in Pedro Ximénez casks. It is presented non-chill filtered and with no added color at a cask strength of 53.1% ABV.
Bunnahabhain 21 Year Old Cask Strength 2025 Edition is described as having aromas of “rich dried fruits, treacle toffee, and brown sugar, with hints of walnut, leather, and a whisper of coastal salinity.” The palate exhibits “sweet PX-soaked raisins, cocoa, and chocolate cherries, with roasted nuts, spiced oak, espresso, and warming cinnamon and clove.” The finish is “long and warming with dark chocolate, prunes, and a touch of sea spray.”
Bunnahabhain 21 Year Old Cask Strength 2025 Edition is now available globally through bunnahabhain.com and at select retailers for a recommended retail price of £275.
