Independent bottler Saltire Rare Malt has announced the latest release in its Lost Distillery Series: a Single Grain Scotch Whisky sourced from the now-closed Port Dundas Distillery.

Distilled in August 2005, the Port Dundas single grain was finished in a virgin Japanese Mizunara oak butt and bottled in September 2025 at 20 years old. It’s presented at a cask strength of 59.7% ABV, free from chill filtration and artificial coloring.

The Port Dundas 20 Year Old is described as having a “vibrant and complex profile of red fruit (cherries), cedar wood, waffles and maple syrup, and warm leather.”

Saltire Rare Malt’s Port Dundas 20 Year Old finished in Mizunara oak is limited to just 558 bottles and will be available beginning September 12th, 2025 at saltireraremalt.com.
