Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the release of the second edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey.

Each annual edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass features a unique corn seed varietal, chosen in collaboration with Beck’s Hybrids to grow well in the soils of Central Kentucky. The 2025 release features corn seed varietal Beck’s 6225 and was grown by family-owned Peterson Farms on one of two sites in Nelson County, Kentucky.

The 2025 release of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey is made with a mashbill of 52% corn, 35% wheat, and 13% malt – a unique mashbill with a higher wheat content than Heaven Hill Distillery’s traditional Wheated Bourbon recipe. Distilled in 2018, it was barreled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV) and aged for over six years at Heaven Hill’s Cox’s Creek rickhouse site, in rickhouses W5 and W6, on the third, fourth, and fifth floors, then bottled without chill filtration at a barrel strength of 106.6 proof (53.3% ABV).

The 2025 release of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey is described as having aromas of “caramelized sugar, light vanilla, and sweet oak.” On the palate, “vanilla and caramel interlace with subtle floral notes of lavender and rose petals, creating a soft and creamy mouthfeel.” The finish “lingers with toasted nuts, leather, and coffee tones.”

The second edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey is available now for a suggested retail price of $99.99/700 mL bottle.
