Michter’s Announces 2025 Release of Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash Whiskey
Michter’s has announced the 2025 release of US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash Whiskey, releasing this September in limited quantities.
Michter’s US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash Whiskey is made by taking fully matured barrels of Michter’s Sour Mash Whiskey and transferring them to toasted, uncharred barrels for additional aging.
The 2025 release of Michter’s Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash is described as exhibiting notes of “rich honey, burnt sugar, and citrus spice with smoky vanilla reminiscent of a cozy campfire.”
Michter’s Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash Whiskey is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof) and carries a suggested retail price of $110.
