Buffalo Trace Distillery Announces Second Edition of Weller Millennium
Buffalo Trace Distillery has announced Weller Millennium #2, a blend of vintage straight wheated bourbon and wheat whiskeys distilled in 2001, 2003, and 2006.
While Buffalo Trace Distillery does not disclose the blend’s ratio of wheated bourbon to wheat whiskey, it does provide the percentages of each vintage spirit inside the bottle:
- 2001 vintage barrels – 2.90%
- 2003 vintage barrels – 46.50%
- 2006 vintage barrels – 50.60%

The second edition of Weller Millennium offers a balance of dark cherry, rich butterscotch and warm vanilla that unfolds over layers of well-aged oak. The finish is bold and enduring, culminating in an oak-forward crescendo that leaves a lasting impression.
Weller Millennium is bottled in a handcrafted crystal decanter with a custom-made crystal topper hand-etched with W.L. Weller’s original “W” stamp of quality. An illuminated display envelopes the 99-proof bottling with exactly 99 bursts while sharing the percentages of each vintage spirit inside the bottle.
Weller Millenium #2 will be available globally in limited quantities beginning this month at a suggested retail price of $7,500 for a 750 mL bottle.
