Wolves Whiskey Unveils Wolves x Willett 10 Year Rye
Wolves Whiskey, in collaboration with Willett Family Estate, has announced its latest limited edition release: Wolves x Willett 10 Year Rye Whiskey.
This release marks the third installment in Wolves’ collaboration with Willett, and is the only expression to date to feature an age statement. To create this blend of straight rye whiskies, Willett selected 10 year old Kentucky rye barrels, while Wolves’ Head Blender Eddie Gonzalez chose 10 year old rye, aged for 7 years in Indiana and finished for 3 years in Northern California. The whiskies were then blended and bottled at 103 proof (51.5% ABV).
Wolves x Willett 10 Year Rye Whiskey is described as having aromas of “orange peel, caramel, cinnamon, baking spice, chocolate, and raspberry jam.” The palate exhibits notes of “ginger bread, tobacco, toasted nuts, and caramel candy.” It finishes with “lingering vanilla and caramel sweetness with a pop of spice and a velvety mouthfeel.”
Wolves x Willett 10 Year Rye Whiskey is now available online at wolveswhiskeyca.com and is priced at $355 for a 750 mL bottle.
