Jacob’s Pardon has unveiled the first release in its new Cask Collective Series: Jacob’s Pardon “Cask Collective” 16 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finished Whiskey.
Jacob’s Pardon “Cask Collective” 16 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish is a limited edition American whiskey crafted from only 48 barrels. It was distilled from a mash bill of 99% corn and 1% malted barley, aged for 16 years, and finished in 50 year old Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Bodegas Williams & Humbert, before being married and bottled at 48.25% ABV.
Jacob’s Pardon “Cask Collective” 16 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finished Whiskey is described as having aromas of “toasted marshmallow, tropical fruits, winter spice, and candied almonds.” The palate exhibits notes of “tangy orange zest, dried fruit, butterscotch, and grilled pineapple.” It concludes with an “extra-long, satiny finish with a touch of bittersweet perfection.”
Jacob’s Pardon “Cask Collective” 16 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finished Whiskey is available now at select retailers for a suggested retail price of $124.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
