High West Announces 2025 Release of The Prisoner’s Share
High West has announced the 2025 release of The Prisoner’s Share, a blend of straight bourbon and straight rye whiskeys finished in The Prisoner Red Blend wine barrels.
The 2025 release of High West The Prisoner’s Share is described as having aromas of “pomegranate kernels, cranberry biscotti, pecan brittle, orange zest, cinnamon bark, light roast espresso, and tanned leather from a cedar closet.” The palate exhibits notes of “Montmorency cherries, raspberry preserves on brioche toast, cacao nibs, brown butter caramel, roasted chestnuts, bergamot tea, and seasoned French Oak.” It concludes with “black currant jam with a subtle rye spice” on the finish.
High West The Prisoner’s Share is bottled at 51% ABV without chill filtration and will be available in limited quantities beginning this month at a suggested retail price of $174.99.
