Westward Whiskey Announces Westward x Fort George Brewery Stout Cask
Westward Whiskey has announced its first Whiskey Club release of 2025: Westward x Fort George Brewery Stout Cask.
To create Westward x Fort George Brewery Stout Cask, Master Blender Miles Munroe led a “double stouting” process. This process began by aging mature Westward in freshly emptied stout beer casks, then transferring the whiskey into Fort George’s freshly returned Matryoshka Stout barrels to further deepen its aromas and flavors prior to bottling at 115 proof (57.5% ABV)
Westward x Fort George Brewery Stout Cask is described as having aromas of “baking chocolate, dried dark fruits, pastries, biscuits, brown sugar, Almond Roca, and Lamingtons.” The palate exhibits notes of “dark chocolate, blueberries, orange peel, sweet mandarins, toasted walnuts, hazelnuts, and vanilla bean.” It finishes with “Bananas Foster, brown sugar, vanilla bean, rich malted barley, and chai.”
Westward x Fort George Brewery Stout Cask is priced at $99.95 for a 750 mL bottle and is now available for purchase exclusively for Westward Whiskey Club members.
