ImpEx Beverages Debuts The ImpEx Collection Edition Four

ImpEx Beverages has announced the launch of The ImpEx Collection Edition Four, consisting of six single cask whiskies from around the world: four from Scotland, one from India, and one from New Zealand.

The ImpEx Collection Royal Brackla 12 Year Old Single Cask No. 110000245
This Scottish single malt from Royal Brackla was distilled on May 17, 2011, and matured in a hogshead cask for 12 years before being bottled on May 30, 2023, yielding 282 bottles at 58% ABV. It’s described as having aromas of “traditional scrumpy cider with apples and melted demerara sugar, and a background of cinnamon and nutmeg spice.” The palate is “rich and creamy with apples and pears, a bright, lemon zest note enhanced by a delicate black pepper spice, and with time, walnut skins.” It concludes with a “lingering” finish of “nuttiness, brown sugar, and cake spice.” RRP: $120.

The ImpEx Collection Dailuaine 14 Year Old Single Cask No. 312079
This Scottish single malt from Dailuaine was distilled on July 31, 2009 and matured in a hogshead cask for 14 years before being bottled on March 5, 2024, yielding 250 bottles at 56.8% ABV. It’s described as having aromas of “coconut oil, tangerine, apricot, vanilla, and honeysuckle.” The palate has a “waxy” mouthfeel and notes of “apricot and tangerine with a notable warmth and a touch of fennel.” It concludes with a “lingering” finish in which “apricot gives way to green apple.” RRP: $140.

The ImpEx Collection Strathmill 14 Year Old Single Cask No. 802952
This Scottish single malt from Strathmill was distilled on April 21, 2009 and matured in a hogshead cask for 14 years before being bottled on March 5, 2024, yielding 272 bottles at 57.5% ABV. It’s described as having aromas of “red apple, cinnamon, pear, star fruit, sugar plum, and baseball card bubble gum.” The palate exhibits notes of “baseball card bubble gum and pear notes joined by touches of fresh barley, wax, and rose petals.” It concludes with a “lasting and rich” finish. The ImpEx Collection Benrinnes 12 Year Old Single Cask No. 306532
This Scottish single malt from Benrinnes was distilled on June 9, 2011 and matured in a hogshead cask for 12 years before being bottled on March 5, 2024, yielding 273 bottles at 58.9% ABV. It’s described as having aromas of “cherries and rosemary.” The palate has a “chewy” mouthfeel and notes of “cherries and rosemary with candle wax and red fruits.” It concludes with “blood orange” on the finish. RRP: $120.

The ImpEx Collection Pōkeno 3 Year Old Cask No. 20-26
This New Zealand single malt from Pōkeno was distilled on April 6, 2020 and matured in a first fill Amontillado cask for 3 years before being bottled on June 30, 2023, yielding 330 bottles at 58.5%. It’s described as having aromas of “ripe peaches, orange and pear drops, with hints of honey and almonds.” the palate exhibits notes of “peach and orange liqueur with marzipan and cashew nuts, and a hint of dried spice.” It concludes with a “long and rich” finish. RRP: $125.

The ImpEx Collection Indri 7 Year Old Cask No. 1746
This Indian single malt from Indri was distilled on May 1, 2015 and matured in an ex-red wine cask for 7 years before being bottled on July 8, 2024, yielding 175 bottles at 53.5%. It’s described as “sweet and elegant” on the nose, with aromas of “figs, plums, and raisins.” The palate is “well balanced and long lasting with fruit predominance and sweetness.” The finish is “complex with touches of vanilla and grapes.” RRP: $175.

The ImpEx Collection Edition Four is available now at specialty retailers across the US.
