Johnnie Walker Launches Blue Label Ice Chalet
Johnnie Walker has announced the launch of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ice Chalet, a limited edition Blended Scotch Whisky created in collaboration with luxury skiwear and lifestyle brand, Perfect Moment.
Crafted by Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ice Chalet is an original blend featuring whiskies drawn from the most northern and highest altitude distilleries of Scotland, including Brora, Clynelish, and Dalwhinnie. It features a wood mix of predominantly refill American oak, rejuvenated heavily charred casks, ex-American oak bourbon casks, and some wine and sherry casks, and is bottled at 43% ABV.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ice Chalet is described as having aromas of “sweet, creamy vanilla with spiced apples and plums, and a gentle wood spice.” The palate exhibits notes of “apples, berries, spices with some soft wood, gentle smoke, and rich orchard fruits.” It finishes with “soft fruity spice with a gentle smoke.”
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ice Chalet is now available globally and carries a suggested retail price of $420 for a 750 mL bottle.
