Widow Jane Announces The Vaults 2024
Widow Jane has announced the release of The Vaults 2024, the latest in the brand’s annual exploration of wood finishes on select barrels from its old and rare whiskey collection.
The 2024 release of Widow Jane The Vaults is a blend of 15 and 20 year old straight bourbon whiskeys that have been finished in Amburana (Brazilian oak) wood casks and bottled non-chill filtered at 49.5% ABV (99 proof).
Widow Jane The Vaults 2024 is described as having aromas of “amaretto cookie, fig leaf, cherry blossom, honey graham cracker, and cinnamon bark.” The palate exhibits flavors of “rosemary, cinnamon raisin, olive oil, sencha green tea, and roasted yam.” It finishes with “black licorice, honeysuckle, coconut macaroon, caramelized carrots, and satsuma.”
Widow Jane The Vaults 2024 is limited to 24,000 bottles and will be available beginning in October at a suggested retail price of $250 for a 750 mL bottle.
