Westward Whiskey has announced its third Whiskey Club release of 2024: Westward Whiskey Bottled-in-Bond.

To be designated bottled-in-bond, a whiskey must be made by one distiller in one season, aged at least four years in one bonded facility, and be bottled at 100 proof. Westward Whiskey exceeds these requirements with Westward Whiskey Bottled-in-Bond, an American single malt distilled in March 2017 and matured for seven years in Oregon before being bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).

Westward Whiskey Bottled-in-Bond is described as having aromas of “toasted walnuts, gardenia, heather, green tea, meadowfoam honey, lemon, pear, toffee.” The palate exhibits “dark fruits, caramelized nuts, light ginger spice, honeyed pecans, and toasted banana bread.” It finishes with “fresh herbal mint, rich dried fruit, muted oak, fresh cut grass, and melon.”

Westward Whiskey Bottled-in-Bond is priced at $99.95 for a 750 mL bottle and is now available for purchase exclusively for Westward Whiskey Club members.
