Lagavulin Launches Offerman Edition Caribbean Rum Cask Finish
Lagavulin and celebrity Nick Offerman have partnered to launch Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Caribbean Rum Cask Finish, the fourth limited edition single malt Scotch whisky created collaboratively by Offerman and Lagavulin.
Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Caribbean Rum Cask Finish has been aged for 11 years in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, then finished for over eight months in ex-Caribbean Rum casks. Bottled at 46% ABV, Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Caribbean Rum Cask Finish is described as exhibiting notes of “lemon meringue, honey, vanilla, toffee, golden cinnamon, and a maritime brine”.
Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Caribbean Rum Cask Finish is available in the U.S., U.K., Germany, China, Taiwan, Australia and at the Lagavulin Distillery in Scotland and carries a suggested retail price of $89.99.
