WhistlePig Announces The Badönkådonk 25 Year Old Single Malt Whiskey

WhistlePig has announced The Badönkådonk 25 Year, a North American Single Malt Whiskey finished in a Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon barrel.
As with WhistlePig The Béhôlden 21 Year, The Badönkådonk 25 Year was distilled from 100% malted barley at Glenora Distillery in Canada, the oldest single malt distillery in North America. Presented as a single barrel product bottled at 91 proof (45.5% ABV), each bottle of WhistlePig The Badönkådonk 25 Year represents a barrel of spirit aged in American Oak for 25 years and finished in a Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon barrel.
WhistlePig The Badönkådonk 25 Year is described as having aromas of “stone fruit – fig, plum – creme brûlée and light butterscotch.” The palate exhibits flavors of “cedar wood, with doughy and wild honey notes,” concluding with “toasted almonds and tanned leather” on the finish.
WhistlePig The Badönkådonk 25 Year Old Single Malt Whiskey is available now at retailers nationwide and via whistlepigwhiskey.com at a suggested retail price of $1,999.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
