High West Bourye 2024 Release Launches Exclusively in Utah

High West has announced the 2024 release of Bourye, a limited release blend of straight bourbon and rye whiskeys.
This year’s release of Bourye marries two Straight Rye Whiskey mash bills (95% rye, 5% barley malt from MGP; 80% rye, 20% malted rye from High West Distillery) with two Straight Bourbon Whiskey mash bills (75% corn, 21% rye, 4% barley malt from MGP; 78% corn, 10% rye, 12% malted barley from an undisclosed Kentucky distillery), all of which have been aged for a minimum of 10 years.
The 2024 release of High West Bourye is described as having aromas of “crisp green apple with maple syrup drizzle, butterscotch squares, toasted almond biscotti, sage, balsam de Peru, and sun-weathered oak.” The palate has notes of “dried Bing cherries, brown butter shortbread with grilled peaches, French vanilla mouse, candied ginger, and cedar.” It concludes with “warm chai tea with grated nutmeg” on the finish.
High West Bourye is bottled without chill filtration at 46% ABV (92 proof) and is available exclusively at the High West Saloon in Utah. It carries a suggested retail price of $124.99.
