Johnnie Walker Releases Blue Label Year of the Dragon Limited Edition
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, Johnnie Walker has released Blue Label Year of the Dragon, a limited edition blended Scotch whisky packaged in a custom box and bottle featuring artwork by Asian-American visual artist, James Jean. The artwork pays homage to the Dragon as a symbol of life and creativity, as well as a portent of future prosperity.
Year of the Dragon is blended from the same components as the standard Johnnie Walker Blue Label, but it’s bottled at a higher ABV (46% vs 40%) in the US and three other markets to give the blend additional character and intensity of flavor.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Dragon is available now at a suggested retail price of $269 for a 750 mL bottle.
