Never Say Die Small Batch Bourbon Launches in the USA
Following the success of its UK launch in September 2022, Never Say Die has announced the US launch of its flagship whiskey, Never Say Die Small Batch Bourbon.
Produced by a partner distillery 30 miles south of Lexington, Kentucky, Never Say Die Small Batch Bourbon is distilled from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. It’s initially aged around five years in a Kentucky rickhouse, then ocean-aged on a six-week trip across the Atlantic, before aging another year in England prior to bottling at 95 proof (47.5% ABV).
Never Say Die is named after a racehorse who was born on co-founder Pat Madden’s family farm in Kentucky in 1951. In the summer of 1954, Never Say Die went on to become the first American-born horse to win the Derby at Epsom in 70 years.
Never Say Die Small Batch Bourbon will initially be available online at seelbachs.com and across Kentucky retailers, bars, and restaurants, with nationwide distribution to follow.
