Turntable Unveils Collaboration Drop 01 With Starward

Turntable Blending House has announced the launch of its new series of collaborative blends: Turntable Collaboration Drop.
The inaugural release in the series, Turntable Collaboration Drop 01: Starward, was created in partnership with Australian distillery Starward. The blend encompasses the best of both Scottish and Australian traditions, combining the sweeter wine casks of Starward with the smoke and salt of Islay, alongside older grains and Speyside single malts to provide additional depth and complexity.
The blend breakdown follows:
- 39% Starward Ex Australian Red Wine Cask
- 10% Caol Ila 1st Fill Bourbon Barrel
- 29% Inchgower Virgin Oak Barrel
- 22% North British Virgin Oak Barrel
The Turntable X Starward blend is presented non-chill filtered and of natural color and is bottled at 46% ABV. It’s described as exhibiting notes of “bonfire smoke on a sea breeze harmonised with red berries, cigar box spices, and coconut.”
The Turntable X Starward bottle has a unique label design featuring constellations from the northern and southern hemispheres printed with UV ink that illuminates in the dark.
Turntable Collaboration Drop 01: Starward is limited to 3,300 bottles and is available at UK specialist retailers, in select European markets such as Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, and in Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, and Hong Kong.
