High West Announces 2023 Release of The Prisoner’s Share
High West has announced the 2023 release of The Prisoner’s Share, a blend of straight bourbon and straight rye whiskeys finished in The Prisoner Red Blend wine barrels.
The 2023 release of High West The Prisoner’s Share is described as having aromas of “dried raspberry, macerated cherries, twine-tied cinnamon sticks, clove-spiced orange, coffee-rubbed brisket burnt ends, cozy potpourri in a fall storm, hint of white pepper, and warm barrel sugar.” The palate exhibits notes of “ripe cherries, dark shortbread with strawberry jam, sticky chocolate brownie crust, allspice, cinnamon, juniper, and mahogany keepsake chest.” It concludes with “fresh gingerbread and orange spiced tea” on the finish.
High West The Prisoner’s Share is bottled at 51% ABV and will be available in limited quantities beginning this month at a suggested retail price of $174.99.
