Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K Aged 23 Years Revealed
Update: Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K 23 Year Old launches May 2024!
Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K, a 23 year old peated single malt composed of stocks laid down in the year 2000 and bottled in 2023.
Matured in Oloroso sherry and Bourbon casks, Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K is described as “emitting notes of lemon balsam and linseed oil, with hints of heather honey and creosote. Intensely sweet and classically smoky, peppermint and aniseed load up into ground coffee and oak tannins.”
Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K will be bottled NCF (Non-Chill Filtered) at 46% ABV and is expected to land in stores in 2024. Expect an official announcement with more information prior to launch.
