Ardbeg 17 Year Old Committee Exclusive Revealed
Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed Ardbeg 17 Year Old Committee Exclusive, a “note by note” recreation of the Ardbeg 17 Year Old that was released in 1997.
Ardbeg 17 Year Old Committee Exclusive is described as having notes of “fresh pine resin, malted barley, toasted bread, cocoa powder, caffè latte, oak smoke, and aniseed toffee.”
Interestingly, it appears that Ardbeg 17 Year Old Committee Exclusive will be bottled at 40% ABV, just like the original release, and there’s no mention of chill-filtration anywhere on the labels.
Expect an official announcement with more information prior to launch.
