Ardgowan Distillery Launches Clydebuilt Riveter Single Grain Scotch Whisky
Ardgowan Distillery has announced the launch of Clydebuilt Riveter, a Single Grain Scotch Whisky dedicated to the crucial work carried out by riveters in the shipbuilding yards of the Clyde.
Clydebuilt Riveter is composed of 15 casks of Single Grain Scotch Whisky sourced from an undisclosed Lowland distillery, all matured in bourbon barrels. Bottled at 50% ABV, Clydebuilt Riveter is described as having aromas of “dark fruit compote, furniture polish, lemon curd, figs, leather, and old books.” The palate is “dry and moreish, with butterscotch, five spice, mint choc chip, and brown sugar.” It concludes with a “lingering, lovely, and very smooth finish.”
Clydebuilt Riveter is available now and carries a suggested retail price of £52.50.
