Orphan Barrel Launches Muckety-Muck 26 Year Old

Orphan Barrel Muckety-Muck 26 Year Old

Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co. has announced the launch of the third and final expression in its Muckety-Muck series: Orphan Barrel Muckety-Muck 26 Year Old, a Single Grain Scotch Whisky from the now shuttered Port Dundas distillery.

Port Dundas was home to a piggery (pig farm) during the distillery’s most successful years, and this limited edition whisky is a tribute to that history. Six variations of the bottle label are available, featuring a caricature of three pigs proudly boasting a Scottish tartan in either red, green, blue, gray, yellow, or orange.

Muckety-Muck 26 Year Old is described as having aromas of “caramel, fudge and baked sugar, backed by hints of fresh fruit and berries.” The palate exhibits “butterscotch vanilla combined with notes of toasted oak and a light fruity taste to carry through the finish.”

Orphan Barrel Muckety-Muck 26 Year Old Single Grain Scotch Whisky is bottled at 46% ABV (92 Proof) and is available now at a suggested retail price of $299.
