George Dickel Announces Return of 17 Year Old Reserve
George Dickel has announced the return of George Dickel 17 Year Old Reserve, a cask strength Tennessee Whisky first released in 2016.
To create the 2022 release, General Manager and Distiller Nicole Austin intentionally searched for barrels that captured the notable components of the 2016 release, including George Dickel’s signature mash bill of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley.
Bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV), the 2022 release of George Dickel 17 Year Old Reserve is described as having aromas of “crème brûlée and apricots,” with notes of “plum and juniper” on the palate and “a rich cedar finish.”
George Dickel 17 Year Old Reserve will be available in select markets across the US beginning this month for a suggested retail price of $250 for a 750 mL bottle.
