Redwood Empire Whiskey Launches Cask Strength Collection
Redwood Empire Whiskey has expanded its portfolio with limited edition cask strength releases of Pipe Dream Bourbon Whiskey, Emerald Giant Rye Whiskey, and Lost Monarch Blended Whiskey.
Cask Strength Pipe Dream Bourbon Whiskey is a blend of 4 to 12 year old Bourbon distilled from a 74% Corn, 20% Raw Rye, 4.5% Malted Barley, and 1.5% Wheat mash bill, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 116.8 proof (58.4% ABV). Cask Strength Pipe Dream is described as having aromas of “toffee, cherry, and soft leather,” with notes of “cherry cola, honey, butterscotch, and pecans” on the palate.
Cask Strength Emerald Giant Rye Whiskey is a blend of 4 to 6 year old Ryes distilled from a 94% Rye, 5% Malted Barley, and 1% Wheat mash bill, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 116.4 proof (58.2% ABV). Cask Strength Emerald Giant is described as having aromas of “delicate herbal tea, soft cinnamon, and dried orange peel,” with a “viscous” palate exhibiting notes of “Earl Grey tea, dark chocolate, and coffee beans,” concluding with a “warm spice finish.”
Cask Strength Lost Monarch Blended Whiskey is a blend of 3 to 12 year old Bourbon and Rye distilled from the same mash bills as Pipe Dream Bourbon and Emerald Giant Rye, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 117.2 proof (58.6% ABV). Cask Strength Lost Monarch is described as “vibrant and earthy” on the nose, with aromas of “mint chocolate ice cream.” The palate exhibits “warm spices and dried apricot,” concluding with a “white pepper finish.”
Redwood Empire Whiskey’s Cask Strength collection is now available nationwide in limited quantities with a suggested retail price of $70 for a 750 mL bottle.
