Fettercairn Launches Warehouse 2 Batch No. 004
The Fettercairn Distillery has announced the launch of Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch No. 004, the fourth release in its limited edition Warehouse Collection.
Distilled in 2014, Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch No. 004 is a marriage of first fill ex-Bourbon barrels and re-charred Hungarian wine oak casks matured in Warehouse 2, bottled non-chill filtered and of natural color at 48.8% ABV.
Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch No. 004 is described as having aromas of “Madagascan vanilla, poached pears, and cracked pepper,” with notes of “toffee, honey, rich nuttiness, honey dew melon, passion fruit, burnished citrus, and sweet oak wood” on the palate.
Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch No. 004 will be available in select global markets – including the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France – beginning this month and carries a suggested retail price of £60.
