Ardbeg Heavy Vapours Revealed
Update: Ardbeg Heavy Vapours launches April 2023!
Labels submitted to the TTB have revealed what appears to be 2023’s Ardbeg Day release, Ardbeg Vapours. The heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky was created without a purifier connected to Ardbeg’s still, resulting in what’s described as “the most full-blown Ardbeg ever.”
The labels are light on tasting notes, describing Ardbeg Vapours as exhibiting aromas of “pungent earthiness, dark chocolate, and sharp peppermint,” with notes of “aniseed, powdery cinnamon, and menthol.”
Ardbeg Vapours will be bottled NCF (Non Chill-Filtered) and is expected to land in stores in spring 2023.
