Michter’s Skipping 2022 Release of 10 Year Bourbon
Michter’s Distillery has announced that there will not be a 2022 release of Michter’s 10 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
The Michter’s team believes that the barrels originally slated for release this year will benefit from additional aging, so they’ve made the decision to hold them back and bottle them next year. Michter’s President Joseph J. stated “When we think something is already wonderful, but will become spectacular with a bit more aging, we have not been shy about waiting to release it. When it comes to whiskey, there’s no substitute for patience and time.”
Michter’s 10 Year Bourbon is bottled at 94.4 proof (47.2% ABV) and has a suggested retail price of $160 for a 750 mL bottle.
